Natalie is our new lab technician!
Natalie was the first undergraduate in the lab and has been in the lab for the past 2 years. She recently received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research in Biological Sciences for her work with Rima assessing the immune landscape of primary vs metastatic PDAC. Congrats Natalie!
The National Cancer Institute has provided us with long-term multi-million dollar funding for our pancreatic cancer cell heterogeneity work.
Our NCI R01 research project grant was selected for funding and converted to a 7-year Method to Extend Research in Time under award number R37CA283575. This is a 2.5 million dollar total award for years 1-5 with an additional budget to be determined for years 6-7. We are immensely grateful for all the previous funding that provided the foundational preliminary data needed to secure this award.
